Taking influence from the Synth pop of The Concerts of China era Jarre and Tin Drum era Japan/David Sylvian, Tristan Burfield has created an E.P with a definite eastern flavor.

As minimal as it is evocative this release sees Tristan expanding his sound palette from the classic sounds of the first generation Gameboy into the new pastures of the latter day Nintendo DS. Using solely the limitations of this humble consumer device Tristan has created a new visionary retro futurist soundtrack that manages to embrace the nostalgia of the past in a progressive contemporary format. Originally released on Zebra Mu's fabulous Quagga Curios Sounds Label.
