about

Recorded between 2004-2005 at my old Bristol Studio in Greenbank. After attending a concert of Mole Harness + Knowledge of Bugs at Bristol Cube. I was encouraged to experiment with the guitar e-bow. Tracks 1-8 were acoustic guitar improvisations with fx and live looping, Track 9 was an electric guitar improv recorded live @ Arc Bar Bristol (the culmination of all these experiments). At this stage I was quite heavily ambient, and had recently purchased a CDR Recorder. I was interested in barely audible sounds and the negative presence of Onkyo music- so I guess this is what I must have been going for. The recording lay dorment for a while, until I made a breakthrough with the mono stereo to conversions in 2024.
